Jessica Winniford is a street and documentary photographer whose work focuses on found beauty, subculture style and human resilience. Jessica is an optimist and uses photography to elevate human dignity in all she encounters through her lens.
After graduating from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Photography, she moved to Guangzhou, China to work with two different non-profits that provided relief to human trafficking victims and the unhoused (2012-2020).
Now based in Dallas, Texas, she works as a freelance photojournalist and artist pursuing self-publishing through zine making, creating organic, dream-like designs through cyanotype printing and pursuing stories about immigrants, Dallas’ AA/PI communities and subculture interests.
