Jessica Winniford is a documentary photographer based in Dallas, Texas. Her work is focused on capturing everyday life of people through street photography and using photography to advocate for and tell the stories of the AAPI and middle eastern communities.

Jessica received a BFA in photography from Louisiana State University in 2012. After graduating from university, she moved to Asia working closely with a non-profit focused on providing holistic care for survivors of human trafficking (2012-2019). Her work involved providing photographic documentation of survivors being repatriated as well as of grassroots work providing employment opportunities to women who have experienced exploitation.

It was during this time Jess dove head first into a daily rhythm of street photography and story telling. She eventually had the opportunity to photograph numerous minority people groups in rural Asia.

Jessica is available for assignments in DFW and Asia.
