Don't Look Too Close : A Photo Zine

Don’t Look Too Close is a zine exploring loss of a sacred space. It visits the village of Xiaozhou, Guangzhou, China through layered imagery and how a new reality is slowly replacing the beautiful memories I hold there.
Each book is handmade by me and contains 24 pages
8.5” x 5.5” in a plastic sleeve
Premium matte paper double sided + Transparency film
Bound by black bands or saddle stitch (depending on edition)
Creating zines is one of my favorite ways to show a larger body of work and immerse you in my story. I regularly sell zines at zine festivals for an in-person viewing experience.
